Inspection Types:Buyer’s Pre-Purchase Inspection
Are you buying a home? Castle Home Inspection will inspect it prior to closing. The inspection covers hundreds of components in the home and includes a detailed report, clearly outlining safety concerns and the current condition of the home. This report will give you the information you need to make the best decision and prepare for future maintenance. Seller’s Pre-Listing Inspection Are you selling your home? Let us inspect it before you even list it. A Seller's Pre-Listing Inspection informs you of defects with your home so that you can address them before a prospective buyers discovers them. You can then take the time you need to obtain reasonable repair estimates. Show buyers that you are dealing in good faith, and justify your full asking price by having your home pre-inspected now. Multi-Unit Housing Inspection Do you own an investment or rental property? We will inspect properties with up to four separate residential units. Please contact for more information. Buildings with more than four units can still be inspected as a commercial building. New Construction Inspection Are you in the process of having a new home built? We will inspect your new home prior to the final walkthrough. We inspect hundreds of new construction homes each year and have built good reputations with the builders in our region. This protects you by identifying any deficiencies that must be corrected prior to closing on your new home. 11th-Month Warranty Inspection Did you recently have a new home built? Most home builders provide the homeowner with a 12-Month Builder’s Warranty. Ordering an inspection before the warranty expires will give you a professionally-prepared report to go over with the builder. If repairs are not needed, it provides peace of mind regarding the quality of your new home. |

Sewer Inspections
A standard home inspection cannot inspect the plumbing system past the foundation walls. This leaves the sewer line from the home's foundation to the street not inspected. We offer sewer scope inspections to determine the condition of your lateral sewer line. We record high quality video of the sewer line and include it with our same day report. With faulty lines such as Orangeburg and Transite in our region, it is recommended to have a sewer scope done on every home.
Radon Testing
Radon is the second highest cause of lung cancer behind tobacco use. On average, 21,000 people a year die directly from Radon specific lung cancer. Castle Home Inspection conducts a 48 hour measurement of your homes Radon levels using state-of-the-art tamper proof monitoring systems. Reports are generated and sent directly to you. You can then use the information in the report to determine if your home is safe from the effects of sustained radon exposure.
Water Quality Testing
Does your dream house have a well? It is always prudent to have the well's water tested to determine the water quality. Be sure to ask your lender if they require a specific well test as well. FHA and VA loans require a third party water quality testing. We gladly handle all known types of water quality testing, with a 3-5 business day turnaround.
